Jane Goodall was interested in studying primates because she was convinced that they are more like us than we were, and sometimes are, willing to admit. She wanted observe and understand the complex social orders and habits that governed their lives and group dynamics.
The more I become acquainted with the often baffling behaviors of the human XY, and most especially the young single male "on the prowl," the more I, too, want to observe and understand.
Gentlemen, I must admit that sometimes you shock me, sometimes you bewilder me, sometimes you infuriate me, sometimes you disappoint me, sometimes you amaze me, and sometimes you make me very proud. I am sure that these sentiments go both ways. I understand that in the complex wilderness of LDS Singledom, both men and women play an equal part in making things complicated.
That being said, please bear with me as I enter into the wild to experience, observe, report, and remark.
Welcome to the Jungle.
